If you have no plans on upgrading the trigger much, the omega is great. A spring kit and polishing makes for a very nice trigger. The standard p-01 is better after upgrades than the omega will be. Another thing to be aware of is the magazine catch is different. tall_will1980 • 2 yr. ago.
Ok, I work at a gun store, am the CZ guy there, and I have three CZ pistols; a compact, P-01, and SP-01. The P-01 is the best of all three for sure, it’s a do all pistol however, being a do all it leaves you wanting more. The SP-01 is larger, substantially heavier, and does not have a de-cocker.
P-01 for the decocker and FPB. Shadow 2 compact has a FPB, but I would like the de cocker, but I be that can done in aftermarket soon. I believe that report was corrected and there is not a FPB. Incorrect. The Shadow 2 Compact does not have a firing pin block. P01 for its FPB and decocker.

Three of mine (P01 9mm, P06 .40 and 40 P) all have aluminum frames, the 75 Compact is all steel. I replaced the guide rods in all of my CZ's as I can't stand a plastic guide rod. CGW cleaned that up a lot, making it really nice, but the PCR's lockwork is still better. The reach to the PCR/P01 trigger is longer (3.07"), and I find the P07 (2.99") a little easier to use in double action because of it. The P07 is slightly narrower in the grip (1.16") compared to the PCR with mediums (2.15").
