I have an X-T4 on order with a 16-80mm and I'm 2nd guessing my decision. Would I be better off with the 18-55mm? I can't justify the 16-55mm 2.8 right now. digital-freak's gear list: Fujifilm X-T4 Samyang 12mm F2.0 NCS CS Fujifilm 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Fujifilm XF 70-300 F4-5.6 R LM OIS WR Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN +4 more. Re: F-Sweet spot for the Fuji 16-55m. I'm sure I will get savaged for this, but I really think worrying too much about an aperture sweet spot on a lens like the 16-55mm is a little overboard. The price difference of the X-T1 with/without the XF 18-55 is $400 with the XF 18-55 sold by itself going for $700. Consider the Canon EF-S 17-55/2.8 IS sells for $830 ($870 MSRP). Probably, a close "kit lens" in the Fuji-X line up would be the XC 16-55 for $400.

If like me, you love shooting wide angle landscapes then the Fuji XF8-16 f2.8 lens with weather sealing has probably been on your radar since it first appeared on the Fuji roadmap last year. I’ve been happily using the 10-24mm since I switched to Fuji about three and a half years ago, it’s my most used lens by a long way, so I’ve been 865n. 41 322 160 98 239 131 327 358 47
